Traditional sprockets adopt the integrated design, which requires changing the entire sprocket due to wear on tooth surface and thus greatly increasing workload and maintenance costs. However, the NSE high-speed plate chain bucket elevator’s sprocket is detachable, which only needs changing the sprocket piece after the tooth surface wears. Replacing the sprocket piece only needs detaching connecting screws between the sprocket piece and wheel hub, removing the worn sprocket piece and installing the new one. It makes maintenance much easier and considerably reduces the maintenance expense. The material of the sprocket piece is high-quality Cr-Mo alloy steel. The tooth surface is processed by medium frequency quenching, which can increase service life of the tooth surface. The connecting bolts are high strength bolts with high comprehensive strength. The connecting bolts and the mating hole between the sprocket piece and wheel hub are precisely processed.
Unlike traditional similar chains, the NSE high-speed plate chain bucket elevator’s chains have short pitch and small deflection, which decreases the influence of polygon effect on chain drive and the noise. Sleeves, pins and chain plates are made from high-quality alloy steel material, and processed by heat treatment, which makes them high strength, wear-resistant, impact-resistant and fatigue-resistant. Advanced process technology and equipment ensure appropriate mating precision and interference fit. The holes of chain plates are processed by sophisticated punching technology to guarantee precision and surface finish. All chain plates are shot blasted to eliminate surface defects and improve fatigue resistance. Compared with similar elevators, the NSE high-speed plate chain bucket elevator, with the same curvature and equal temperature, runs more stably and smoothly so that it can reduce wear on components and optimize components’ function.
The tail of the NSE high-speed chain elevator adopts the self-balancing gravity take-up. Replacing roller bearings with wear-resistant casings can avoid leakage of dust when roller bearings operate. The entire take-up is sealed inside the tail casing, which ensures the sealing quality of equipment, lowers maintenance expense and meets the requirements of environmental protection.
