HBY Central Chain Bucket Elevator

The HBY central chain bucket elevator is equipped with central chains. Its buckets are closely spaced. The width of a standard bucket is between 200 to 1200 mm. Buckets with different width have different carrying capacity.
      The HBY central chain bucket elevator is designed to transport highly-corrosive and loose materials such as cement clinker and slag powder. The smooth-wheel structure can reduce power consumption and chain wear, and ensure the continuous conveyance at the same time. The HBY central chain bucket elevator is grouped into the single-bucket-single-chain type and double-bucket-double-chain type.
Its conveyance capacity reaches 3,000 tons per hour.
Its conveyance height is up to 80m.
It can continuously convey materials at temperature of up to 300°C.
Its tail adopts the self-balancing gravity take-up.
Its head wheel and tail wheel adopt highly wear-resistant split structure without teeth.
It runs stably and requires very little maintenance.
A forging central chain with angle bracket is available with a breaking force of 750-3500 KN.  
All chains are inspected and assembled by special equipment.
It can adopt dual drive and double-chain-double-bucket to increase conveyance capacity.

Central chains are forged through the die-forging process and heat treated with advanced techniques so as to improve the chain plate’s comprehensive mechanical properties. The appropriate interference fit among pins, sleeves and chain plates produces beneficial stress on the mating surface, which increases chains’ stability. The labyrinth seal of inner and outer chain plates minimizes corrosion damage to pins and sleeves caused by materials, decreases the friction between pins and sleeves, and prolongs the chain’s service life. The service life of chains reaches 4 to 8 years under normal operating conditions. 

The Driving Sprocket and Driven Sprocket Ring

The driving sprocket and driven sprocket adopt ring without teeth, detachable and split structure. The transmission torque between sprocket and chains ensures the running of drive chains under the static friction effect by means of friction between chains and sprockets. Because the sprocket diameter and chain pitch determine a structure without corresponding number of teeth, and the contact position of chains and sprockets is not at the same point every cycle, the drive without teeth can guarantee even wear on flanges and greatly increase the service life of sprockets.

Self-balancing Gravity Take-up

The accurate calculation of the tail wheel’s weight meets the need of equipment’s tensioning. Replacing the bearing seal with the wear-resistant casing and limit sleeve inside the tail casing can reduce the cost of changing bearings caused by dust and make environment clean because there is no leakage of dust.
